How it works
No setup at the gate beyond a phone and NFC reader. Everything else is automatic.
The student holds their NFC card or fob to the gate staff's phone. One tap — that's the whole interaction. No QR codes, no names to type.
FundTrak auto-detects whether it's a check-in or check-out. The student's name, class, timestamp, and fee balance appear on screen. Late arrivals are flagged automatically.
A WhatsApp message and SMS fires to the guardian within seconds — student name, direction (in or out), and timestamp. No app install or account needed on their end.
The same tap logs the student out. Guardian receives an exit notification. The attendance record closes with both timestamps. Duplicate scans within 5 minutes are ignored.
Live Attendance
Gate staff and teachers both see a live attendance log — who's in, who's out, and when. Late arrivals are flagged automatically. No clipboards. No end-of-day reconciling. The record is complete the moment the last student leaves.
Guardian Notification
No app to install. No account to create. The guardian gets a WhatsApp message and an SMS the moment their child taps in or out. Name, direction, and timestamp — clean, simple, and instant. If the student has outstanding fees, a gentle reminder is included based on your configured frequency.
Fee Visibility
Every time a student taps in, staff instantly see their outstanding fee balance and payment status on screen. No awkward conversations needed — the information is simply there, visible, at the right moment. A gentle, consistent nudge at every entry.

FundTrak intelligently determines whether a scan is a check-in or check-out based on the student's last scan. No need for separate entry and exit stations.
Assign NFC cards to students, replace lost or damaged tags, deactivate with a reason, and view full tag history. Each tag has a unique hex UID linked to one student.
Gate devices that go offline can store up to 100 scans locally. When reconnected, upload the batch in one request — FundTrak processes them in chronological order.
Set check-in and check-out time windows, late arrival threshold, duplicate scan prevention (1-60 min), weekend scanning, and SMS rate limits per student per day.
